  2. Total family Income: The applicant’s total family income must be less than Rs. 10,000 in rural regions and Rs. 12,000 in urban areas each month.
  3. The applicant’s family’s total land holding shall not exceed 3.00 acres of wet land, 10 acres of dry land, or 10 acres of land combined for this purpose.
  1. Family Member Not in the Proposal: The applicant may not have any relatives who work for the government or get government pensions. There is an exception for the families of sanitation workers.
  2. No four-wheeler should belong to the applicant’s family (autos, tractors, and taxis are exceptions).
  3. Power Use: The applicant’s family home, whether it is rented or owned, should use less than 300 units of power each month.
  4. Income Tax: The applicant’s family should not be a taxpayer for income tax.
  5. Less than 750 square feet of built-up space is classified as municipal property (residence or commercial).
  6. The candidate should be between the ages of 45 and 60. A female candidate is preferred.
  7. Category: The candidate needs to be from the Kapu Community (Ontari, Kapu, Balija, or Telaga).

Explain the Online application process

Step1: The citizen can use the Aadhaar-tagged mobile OTP Authentication to log in on the Citizen Schemes Portal homepage page. Click on “Submit” after choosing “YSR Kapu Nestham 2023” from the schemes menu on the “Citizen Scheme Application” page for YSR Kapu Nestham Application

Step 2: Applications are sent to Ward Welfare and Development Secretary (WWDS) or Welfare and Education Assistant (WEA). 

Step 3: The Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) / Municipal Commissioner (MC) receives the applications after the Volunteers, WEAs, and WWDS complete the field verification for each one, collect eKYC, and offer a pertinent suggestion. 

Step 4: After reviewing the application and providing any pertinent comments, the MPDO/MC sends it to the Executive Directors of the Backward Classes Welfare Department (ED BC). 

Step 5: After reviewing the application and offering pertinent suggestions, the Executive Director of the Backward Classes Corporations (ED BCs) moves ahead. 

Step 6: The Social Audit lists, which include the Provisional eligible list and Reverification list (with grounds for ineligibility) are published in all secretariats based on the recommendations provided by the ED BCs and the applicants’ eligibility as stated in the Scheme Eligibility Calculator. 

Step 7: If any Reverification list citizens believe that the stated cause for ineligibility is inaccurate, they may file a grievance. 

Step 8: All secretariats publish the final list of Beneficiaries who are eligible for YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme 2024 and ineligible. 

Step 9: If the citizens included on the Final Ineligible list believe that their rejection was made for an improper cause, they may file a grievance using the Citizen Schemes Portal. 

Step 10: Using the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS), the scheme reward is distributed to all qualified participants. Utilising eKYC (Biometric Authentication), the Volunteers, WEAs, and WWDS confirm receipt of the payment by the beneficiary.
